and disappears

I see her walking through the cemetery,
A little girl, dressed in black...
with skin so pale, she might well be a cloud.

I hear her mumbling,
Not quite sure what she's saying,
Her voice so soft, she might well be an angel,
but of course, they aren't real.

Her pace slows, and comes to a stop,
She turns, and looks straight through me,
like I'm not there, but, as I move,
Her gaze follows,
Staring at me like I'm not there, yet knows I am.

I walk up to her,
Crouch down,
Look her in the eyes...
She laughs
and disappears..
